Color artwork approach: The black line work is done on paper and scanned into Photoshop and then I use a filter from these guys called GHOST to apply to the line work.
Then I create a separate layer fill it with white and place it under the line work layer. I use whatever brush I find pleasing to use at the time, but set it at %50 opacity and build up colour from using that. That's the general approach. If you have a specific issue that you want help with, I'd be happy to respond via email.
This guy offers free brushes for photoshop and has lots of helpful stuff on his blog. Take a look.

My preferred traditional colour method is watercolour on top of waterproof black ink. But that's a whole new can of worms :)
I have created a meme called 'The End, The Beginning: A Silent Post'.
I have tagged you because, I know this is slightly off-topic, but I would love to see 'your' thoughts about the End and the Beginning without using words.

The world is neither a mirage nor is merely an illusion. It exists. It impinges upon you.
why don't we jump off a high rising tower in NY, and say - "oh well, this world is an illusion" :)
Maaya is not equal to non-existence
Everything is as it is.
The appearance is an illusion.
Y so serious, enjoy the ride.
