Color artwork approach: The black line work is done on paper and scanned into Photoshop and then I use a filter from these guys called GHOST to apply to the line work.
Then I create a separate layer fill it with white and place it under the line work layer. I use whatever brush I find pleasing to use at the time, but set it at %50 opacity and build up colour from using that. That's the general approach. If you have a specific issue that you want help with, I'd be happy to respond via email.
This guy offers free brushes for photoshop and has lots of helpful stuff on his blog. Take a look.

My preferred traditional colour method is watercolour on top of waterproof black ink. But that's a whole new can of worms :)
I have created a meme called 'The End, The Beginning: A Silent Post'.
I have tagged you because, I know this is slightly off-topic, but I would love to see 'your' thoughts about the End and the Beginning without using words.

This is all Self, speaking to Self.
No GURU is required to direct you to who you already are.
Having said that. Here's a quote from an apparent GURU. lol.
Wonderful paradox!
Love says "I am everything"
Wisdom says "I am nothing"
Between the two my life flows-
(Nisargadatta)
Each attempt that appears here, has already failed to express THAT which can't be expressed.
Maybe some of these cartoons slip through and point to THAT which is not possible to point at. LOL
It's hopeless!
I'd say "give up" but there is no-one who can follow the instruction to "give up".
Every word here is both true, untrue and neither.
The mind will never understand the source that created the mind. Can an eye see itself except in a mirror, which is itself a reflection. There is only ONE without a second.
YOU ARE THAT!
PS: Just in case you think I AM claiming to be enlightened.
I AM-NOT :) The term "Enlightenment" is just a concept that the mind holds on to as something to gain. How can you gain what you already are?

This guy stopped the seeking here by pointing in the direction of the bloody obvious. I love this man. He is not my guru. He pointed to the fact I don't need a guru because I AM THAT I AM. FULL STOP!

The world is neither a mirage nor is merely an illusion. It exists. It impinges upon you.
why don't we jump off a high rising tower in NY, and say - "oh well, this world is an illusion" :)
Maaya is not equal to non-existence
Everything is as it is.
The appearance is an illusion.
Y so serious, enjoy the ride.
we do what we do
